Beyond the Sid Valley, there are several organisations which have taken an active interest in the River Sid.
The Devon Local Nature Partnership works with local groups – and has just set up its Wild About Devon initiative:

The initiative is part of the wider Nature Recovery programme from central government:

They are looking to local groups to input into this, including the SVBG, with a new toolkit launched as part of its Wild About Devon initiative:

The Devon Wildlife Trust has been involved with projects on the Sid.

The Environment Agency is a key player in any river system, as it is the government body responsible for all officially classified rivers. As such, it provides a lot of guidance:
