Looking at some of the postings for August:

A very unclear photo of a large otter, clearly enjoying him/herself, swimming in the river off the bridge by The Salty Monk in Sidford around midday today. So lovely to see these creatures out and about….keep your eyes peeled folks!!
Be careful in the Byes, there’s a croc in the river
We went for a stroll down the byes yesterday, picking blackberry’s and throwing the ball around for the pooch. Think my little one had a run in with some hogweed when getting the ball out of the bushes near the river area of Margarets meadow as they have come up in blisters today.
Is it safe for dogs in the water in the byes again? Muttley is missing her summer swimming
