The River Sid Catchment Plan public consultation – the results

At the end of last month,  the River Sid Catchment Plan project reached out to the wider public to get their perspectives on the Sid – past, present and future:

The Sidmouth Biodiversity Festival – and the River Sid Catchment Plan Public Consultation – Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th June – The Sid

And there’s more about the consultation and next steps in the Herald:

We will be using information from the consultation to build on our ‘draft’ catchment plan which will be finalised and published this summer. The plan will include the vision to improve freshwater and riparian(riverside) habitats, retain water (and soil) and encourage migratory fish such as sea trout and even salmon back to our wonderful river.
