The Sidmouth Biodiversity Festival down by the Sid: Friday 7th June

There’s the usual packed programme of fascinating fare at this year’s Sidmouth Biodiversity Festival:

Sidmouth Biodiversity Festival 2024 – Sidmouth Town Council

And the first day of festivities will be focussing on the Sid – both down by the river itself and at Kennaway House. Here’s festival organiser Sheila Meades with a summary:

River Learning – Friday 7 June. The festival begins with two thought-provoking, river-related talks at Kennaway House by Simon Browning and Roger Cutting. In the afternoon, join in with a variety of river-themed activities in The Byes, suitable for all ages. In the evening, join us for a bat detection walk along the banks of the River Sid, led by local expert, Sarah Butcher (booking essential).
